So I'm one week into pre-season and feeling great!! With a few changes to my diet, cutting back on alcohol and increasing my exercise - I've managed to drop a kilo - YAY ME !! I decided to go out and buy Michelle Bridges crunch time cook book cause I didnt wanna not do anything while I wait 28 days for the program to starts.. There's so many great recipes, and ideas I dont' think I'll ever get bored of healthy eating!!!!
I guess the biggest change for me has been that I've been getting up at 6.30am and going for a run before I go to work... I feel so much better getting up and getting it out of the knowing I've got the rest of the day to do as I please. Why I used to keep finding excuses is beyond me.. I even did what Michelle told me to do and went and brought myself some new training tshirts and shorts. Any excuse to go shopping right, especially if helps give you a little bit of extra motivation!!!
Each week, Michelle sends you mind task videos to watch and complete and get urself ready to start the program... So far, I've had to get real and be true to myself about the excuses I continue to use and come up with solutions to conquer them.. I've also had set myself goals, that are achievable over the next 12 months, like in 1 month, loose 3 kilos and be able to run 3 kms without stopping etc etc etc.. I can see why these tasks are so important in terms of getting started.
I hope to bring you weekly progress reports as I continue my journey on 12WBT! Only 21 sleeps til kickoff!
Looking forward to joining you : )
